How I Practice Self-Care with Pantene

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pantene. All opinions are 100% mine.

Nothing in the world is more important to me than self-care. Is there such a thing as too much self-care? Because if so, guilty for life. As some of you may know, I recently started a new job and it has been a mega stressful few weeks. One of the best feelings in the world has been coming home after a long day of hanging out with kids and unwinding with a full hour of self-care.

For me, self-care typically starts with my face. I'm a huge fan of face masks for their hydrating and restorative properties. When I'm on the go, a sheet mask usually does the trick. But when I want to devote a chunk of the day to pampering myself, I go straight for the clay masks. I know I can keep them on longer and I love the initial feeling of the cooling clay on my skin.

While the mask is doing its thing, I like to take the time to hop into a warm bath. It’s my own at-home escape. Sean and I recently finished renovations on our bathroom and we're officially proud owners of a vintage-style cast iron clawfoot tub. I didn't used to be a bath girl, but something about soaking in a retro tub changes that pretty quickly! It gives me time to shut the door, turn off the noise of life and relax.

Must-have tub essentials: candles, sea salt, bath bomb, and oils.

Right after my soak is the perfect time to wash the mask off of my face and rinse off. I recently got my long hair chopped off into a shoulder-length bob (huge time saver when getting ready by the way!) because I wanted more bounce and volume. While it did help a bit at the ends, my hair still falls pretty flat at the roots and I'm always on the hunt for the perfect product to help give it volume and thickness.

Enter: the new Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection. The Nutrient Blends Collection incorporates ingredient blends inspired by cultures around the world. The blends in the collections are nutrient-rich. Most importantly, the collections are free of the ingredients you don’t want like parabens - ALWAYS a huge plus in my book!

I've been using the shampoo and conditioner from the Hair Volume Multiplier Collection with Bamboo and have been loving the results! Free of silicones, parabens, dye and mineral oil, the Bamboo Collection was made to add fullness to fine or thin hair. It’s a great hair thickening shampoo – perfect for when my hair doesn’t want to cooperate. I discovered the bamboo is known for its supportive properties, and Pantene’s Vitamin-B-rich Bamboo is extracted from bamboo shoots grown in China’s Fujian Provence.

I recommend using the Bamboo Shampoo for a regular, gentle cleanse and the Bamboo Conditioner for regular moisture boosts on every wash day. Bamboo has a ton of benefits such as adding fullness to fine or thin hair. Everything my hair craves! Don’t believe me? Try out the Pantene Nutrient Blends Collection for yourself!

After my wash, I dry and style my hair as usual and end my self-care by moisturizing from head to toe. This routine helps me relax and makes me ready to face the next day. When I wake up in the morning, my hair still looks and feels thick and full of volume, giving me that extra boost of confidence at my new job!
