Life has been crazy hectic around here lately. We finally got around to furnishing our guest bedroom, which led us to revisiting our guest bathroom for major renovations. We figured since the construction crew was going to be around, we might as well get going a custom built-in for our office as well! With people constantly coming in and out of our house, and us not being able to take weeks off from work at a time, I have to admit we did get a little nervous. So we partnered up with CamHome and have been using their Olva S indoor security camera to keep tabs on what’s going on while we’re away.
As a Vegas resident and native, I am constantly being asked for recommendations on the best places to eat. At the far North end of Las Vegas Blvd is Circus Circus - a classic hotel that has withstood the tests of time and still stands unchanged in this era of demolish-rebuild-repeat. Tucked away inside the casino is THE Steak House (yes, capitalize THE because it’s the name and because it deserves the title). Read on for my full review on THE Steak House and what makes it the BEST dining experience in Las Vegas.
We’ve taken Bambi back to her potty training days by placing Hartz Dog Pads in places where she has previously had accidents: by her dog door and by the back sliding doors. Like clockwork, I’ve been coming home from work every day to a soiled pad and a guilt-free Bambi, which is instantly rewarding. Read on for my full review on the Hartz Dog Pads!
Las Vegas will always be remembered for its Golden Era - the time of the Rat Pack, scantily clad showgirls and bright neon lights. Just because those years have passed does not mean that the memory doesn’t live on. For those of you who refuse to let a good thing go, here are 5 must-see attractions for your Vegas next visit that will have you reveling in the good old days.
This past weekend, Sean and I had the pleasure of attending one of our dearest friend’s wedding in southern California. Usually, we dread the drive out to California from Vegas (it feels like the longest 3.5 hours of our lives), but this time we were looking forward to it, since we knew we’d be driving out in the newest Mazda 6 Signature. Read on to see pictures from our drive with this bright red beauty!
Ladies, it’s time to get real on here. I know I’m not the only woman in the world who absolutely hates bra shopping. It’s uncomfortable, time-consuming, and always ends up being a disappointment. Everywhere I go, I get measured and strangely end up with a different size. (Seriously?!) By the time it’s all over, I’m let down with my choices, and what I thought felt fine in the fitting room ends up being a literal pain after wearing it all day. So what’s a girl to do? Luckily, I was approached by the sweethearts behind True&Co and challenged to give their bras a try. Read on for my results!
Imagine if you could order the items you wanted in multiple sizes, not pay a dime, and only get charged if you decide to keep them? No, I’m not talking about a subscription box. I’m talking about you shopping on your favorite online retail sites, picking out things you love (not some stylist who has never even met you!), trying everything on at home, keeping what you love, and returning what you don’t. And only getting charged for what you keep! Friends, say hello to Try.com - your new shopping bff.
Holy crap, cannot believe I actually wrote that out! I have been dreading this day for a long time.. to be honest, I always dread my birthdays. I know a lot of people are into the whole “another year older, another year wiser” thing, but I am the total opposite! If I could stay in my early 20’s forever, I’d be the happiest little thang.
